Guys.  I’m like a grown up now.  Or at least I feel more like one.  Well, I guess I should say that I feel like I need a more grown up work-bag in order to really reach my grown up potential.
While I would really love the Celine bag that costs two months rent, I need to make grown up decisions.  That’s why this Prada Saffiano Tote would be perfect for my new, more mature state in life.
Hmm..now who can I get to purchase this for me…

This weekend I finally made it to the Schiaparelli / Prada exhibit : Impossible Conversations.  After one failed attempt, ahem, the night of the Met Gala, I was able to view these ladies work in all its glory.

The thing that I love about Prada and Schiaparelli is that they work outside the box.  Deconstruction breeds these beautiful works of art.  What I really enjoyed was that Miuccia does not think of herself as an artist or fashion as art - such an interesting perspective.  I also loved discovering that she went into fashion as a way of rebelling, my kind of lady.

Schiaparelli is a designer that I have admired since I was in college.  Her ability to envision these amazing theatrical creations is astounding.  Whenever people have told me I was “creative” I always thought to myself, “If you only knew what creative was.”

If you haven’t been, definitely make time to go
