While this has been a pleasant first winter, I am beyond ready for real spring to start. According to my little iPhone, New York will actually have some spring time weather this week.
First item on my list of to-do’s: plan the perfect spring outfits.
I love dresses for the heat in New York. They’re perfect for the office and so light whilst running to the subway. If you know anything about me you know my wardrobe is comprised of black, white and tan - however in honor of this fashionable spring I think I’ll throw in a little color. A floral perhaps? Dare to dream.
Must. See.

Pink for the first day of spring.
Holy shit balls. I just gave myself an awesome birthday present.
It’s now official. I’m a legit New Yorker. Like, I attended a New York Fashion Week event and was accepted.
Tonight I made an appearance at the Kate Spade Saturday x Fab event. It was great. Fashionable people. Fashionable party. Fashionable drinks. I’m now so incredibly excited for Spring/Summer. There were so many cute and oh-so Kate dresses - I can’t wait to get my hands on them tomorrow when they’re live for purchase on Fab. Between the open back top and the splattered paint dress.. where do I start? How do I choose? Ahh, simple solution : buy both.
So long Fall, hello Spring.

I’m really feeling this look right now. Sure, it’s about 10 degree outside so this would be piled under three layers of coat and warmth, but it’ll be under there. I’ve recently found a pair of leather leggings that would be a true steal, however with my new “I need a Prada bag” mentality, should I be saving my money??
Ohh these grown up decisions sure are getting old very quickly.
There’s magic in the air in New York City. No, it’s not the snow or the chill of the frosty air. It’s the only thing that can make this little girl’s cold heart melt ever so slightly : New York Fashion Week is upon us.
Chanel forever.

That’s why I went to Scotland to this castle where Mary Stuart was born, and it was quite a magical moment. To do the opposite, next time, in a year, I will go to Dallas. You know why? First of all, I love Texas. I love Texans. There’s another reason. When Chanel reopened, the French press was beyond nasty. The only press that understood it immediately was the American press, and Neiman Marcus gave her the Oscar for her collection, so I think it’s a nice thing to go there.
