Today was a magical day. I attended my very first New York City sample sale…. and let’s just say in the fight of Sarah v. Sample Sale… Sample Sale won. Big time.
However, there is an upside. I did stock up on some pretty great things. I scored an amazing cashmere scarf (originally $350) for just $45. Also, the best daughter in the world managed to grab a teal silk shantung blouse with hand beading for her madre for Madre’s Day (that’s right, buying her love) for just a bit more.
I guess I’ll just have to put off buying a few other things like groceries for a while.
